If I could give them no stars I would! Looks like a lot of corruption and fraud in this court. They approve Orders without even serving citizens and take children illegally from good mothers to give to abusers who have a history of violence and ignore Protective Orders. Where are the Feds to Drain THIS Swamp?
I have just returned to Fl. From eight months in the Bahamas, and needed to renew my boat registration (I asked to do it before I left, but was told it was to soon to do it at that time). I walk to the Palm beach county courthouse, find the proper building, go through the metal detector, which I was prepared for after reading other of these reviews. Of course they didn't believe me that I had no metal until I went through.
First time here. The place was well organized, the staff was friendly and helpful. The wait time was long (1 hr +). I'll make an appointment next time to go quickly through. Plenty of parking and security was quick.
Wow I'm happy I found this place on my way home, was in and out in 10 minutes. The clerks office was quick, and the staff are very friendly
I then went to the proper room , having asked directions from a nice man, I stood in line ne'er a sign that said to take a number so I asked another man where to get the number and he said I was in the line to get the number to stand in line. As I stood there the lady said if people just need to renew their tags they could go to the drive through window if they were paying in cash. So I asked if that was good for boat registration as well. She said yes, so that is where I went. I stood in between two cars until it was my turn. Went up to the window and was rudely refused to be waited on because I wasn't in a car! Went back inside through the metal detector, back to the line to get a number to stand in line, and when it was my turn told the lady the wouldn't help me outside.
Here's the kicker... the lady at the number desk was VERY nice! She took my paperwork and money and got my stickers! Although she only got me a one year sticker when I asked for two years. Didn't notice until I got back to the boat.
