Our kitty has had kidney markers that have gone up with each food we switch him to that's supposed to be better for him. Brought him in for an evaluation and for a doppler study to get a more accurate blood pressure reading. Saw the internist, Dr. Cameron, and the assistant, both of whom were nice. Dr. Cameron has a very pleasant demeanor. She seems knowledgeable and she was open to discussing things and hearing some of the things we had questions on. The place seems clean as well. She didn't try to push services and wasn't out for money like some of these places can be. I'd recommend them.
They provide great care. I do have one complaint however. I've been here on a few occasions and have always paid on the spot, no questions asked, in full. This would build my credibility, correct? However on my most recent visit, they were completely unwilling to bill me for services, to pay at a future date. Bear in mind it was not an astronomically costly visit. Combine this with the stress of an emergency visit, this left a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth...
I took my dog in after he was hit by a car and lost a lot of skin on his back leg. The wound has healed well due to the exeptional care from all the medical staff. The reception staff are equally friendly and helpful. They also know some patients and owners by name which really shows they care. 10/10
They do indicate that they require payment in full on their website, however I was provided no quote before services were rendered.
X amount of too many $ for an emergency exam (check my dogs heart rate on this occasion). Not to mention the cost for subcutaneous fluid therapy.
The Dr’s and Staff at this vets hospital are so caring, I was devastated when a year ago my Chihuahua baby Jett had to come here in full emergency !! He was in heart failure, it has taken me this long to write any thing about Jett I was just a complete mess crying trying to make the best decision for my dear baby he was just 3 yrs old and weighed only 1.5 lbs to that young in heart failure was incredible to me... ultimately I had to make the choice of putting him down, I birthed him from his mother Mia Bella and I was determined he was to be showed just how much I loved him I held him as the dr gave him a shot he slowly died in my loving arms..I kept holding him and told him how good a little boy he was it broke my heart
Thru the flood of tears I told them thank you I had to leave him and said my good byes, then one day out of the clear blue I got a letter from the drs had staff every single person signed it and told me how sorry they were.. that is the caring staff you are going to bring to this very caring place for your furry loved pet and the pet parent because they really really care..
Wow can not say enough about VSH they are absolutely amazing! Had to bring my sweet Lily in after she picked up a frog and had a horrible seizure like reaction. The staff was amazing, knowledgeable, and compassionate! The place was very clean, well run from the second we walked in! Also a follow up call to check on her the next day. Highly recommend if you ever have an emergency, and I also learned they are highly specialized in several things not just an emergency clinic.
