Well, after this store responded to my original 2-star review to privately contact the owner (though providing no contact info) I emailed the corporate headquarters and received a call from the general manager-corporate consumer relations. He listened to our problems and offered a discount for our inconvenience. He also informed us that our warranty on the table's resin wicker was three years rather than the two years disclosed on the tag. We love the patio set, which includes a fold-up table--a great feature for our hurricane-prone area that I had not seen at other stores. Thus, I've upped the store's rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

I went shopping yesterday and I had the most amazing sales representative. I was really surprised when I found out sales rep, Debra had worked in the store for two weeks. She was a total pro!

This is a beautiful store which does seem to have high-quality merchandise, and I so far love the patio dining set we ultimately bought. But unfortunately, service doesn't come close to matching the store's high class prices. Unlike other reviewers who have complained of delivery issues, we took the dining set home in our car. To check out, a sales rep--too busy to help us-- sent us to her manager, who seemed as though he didn't want to be bothered and was very unknowledgeable in response to questions we asked. He indicated no assembly was required on the table. Wrong! The box containing the fold-up table, we learned only after dragging it home in effective 100 degree heat, contained screws, but had tape over the directions so they weren't readable. Tools provided were poor quality and inadequate for the magnitude of the job, which required a professional drill, nut driver and rivet driver. So we were unable to assemble it properly. When we called to complain, we finally were allowed to exchange the table for an already assembled floor model--no discount--after initially being told that was not something the store allows. We thus dragged the table back and got the floor model home only to realize that it was missing a plastic cap to cover a screw as well as 4 levelers. So much for this store's quality oversight! Back with the floor sample table to the store again in the heat! On this return visit, my husband, upon entering the store, noted that the first table we had returned--the one that he had not yet properly assembled--already was being displayed as a floor model. Good luck to any future buyer!
I hope the general manager knows how well she is representing the store. She was very knowledgeable about the products in the store and extremely friendly. I've been told that I'm not the easiest customer to deal with. I still haven't made my purchase, waiting to hear back from them on a reasonable price on this holiday weekend. I think we are close to making a deal.
We went in to purchase a patio set and were VERY impressed with our sales representative, Brenda. She was knowledgeable and helpful without a hard sell or being intrusive. The purchase price was great and we bought a set, which was to be delivered in three weeks. The first week of October we called to get a more specific date, and were informed it would be late October. The manager Dan was not very helpful and we ended up cancelling the order, which led to Dan being rude and dismissive. Very disappointing, to say the least.
Dan and his team are terrific! They have a wide range of inventory available, and they helped me select a couple of reclining chairs that fit perfectly on my patio.
